Friday tips: Katie Midwinter's best bets on Racing TV

Former Tipster winner Katie Midwinter shares her five best bets for the action at Cork, Newmarket and Epsom on Friday - with every contest live on Racing TV.

2.48 Epsom: Wise And Wonderful

In Epsom's opening contest, a 7f handicap, top weight Wise And Wonderful could add another course-and-distance success to her record having shed her maiden tag here in her penultimate start.
Trained by Andrew Balding, the Oasis Dream filly got off the mark at the third time of asking when beating Bullrider by a length at the track last month, before making her handicap debut in a luckless run at Goodwood.
When last seen in a competitive 18-runner field, the juvenile filly failed to get the run of the race, struggling for a clear run in a performance worth putting a line through. She could still be well treated from a mark of 74 and remains unexposed, entitled to continue improving as she gains experience having already shown she has ability.

4.00 Epsom: Sir Garfield

Course and distance winner Sir Garfield is one to note in this field for the training partnership of John and Sean Quinn, who have a strike-rate of 29 per cent at this track since joining forces.
The five-year-old gelding won on his return following a short break at this track last month when rated 2lb lower, recording successive wins having previously won at Catterick. Although he has been unable to add to his brace so far this year, he was far from disgraced in a 26-runner handicap at Goodwood recently and could find more luck in this contest.
With the benefit of proven course form in his favour from a workable rating, Sir Garfield holds a solid chance under Jason Hart and should be capable of putting in a bold bid in familiar surroundings.

6.35 Cork: Princess Child

Five-year-old mare Princess Child won a Group Three twelve months ago and has since placed at the same level, therefore should be able to put in a competitive performance in this Listed contest under champion jockey Dylan Browne McMonagle.
The daughter of Dariyan is the second highest-rated contender in the field and has proven form over the distance as well as plenty of experience in Stakes races. She usually runs well this time of year and, although many of her best efforts have been on a softer surface, she has winning form on good ground.
There's plenty to like about the chances of the Joseph O'Brien-trained mare who has enough talent to make her presence felt in this field.

7.10 Cork: Amelia Earhart

In this Group Three mile-and-a-half contest at Mallow, Amelia Earhart could bounce back to form eased in grade and dropping back down in trip. She hasn't been able to pose a threat since her impressive win in the Cheshire Oaks earlier this season, on reappearance following a 200-day break, failing to justify favouritism when well beaten in the Oaks in her subsequent run.
When last seen, the daughter of Camelot was upped to a mile-and-three-quarters against older rivals but she didn't improve for the step up in trip despite faring a bit better than in her previous couple of appearances at the top level.
In this company, the Aidan O'Brien-trained filly could give a better account of herself and may be worth keeping the faith in. She has proven she possesses class but is yet to live up to expectations and this could be a feasible opportunity for her to resume her progression and get back on track in the hands of Ryan Moore.

8.10 Newmarket: An Bradan Feasa

In Friday's finale on the July Course, Jack Jones-trained An Bradan Feasa makes appeal under 5lb claiming Jake Dickson, who has shown promise in the saddle this year and has a good record in apprentice races.
The six-year-old gelding has been running consistently well over the past year, winning over obstacles as well as on the Flat, putting in a number of creditable efforts in defeat too. He's currently only 3lb higher than his last winning mark in this sphere, but has finished second on three occasions since including when only narrowly denied at Lingfield in his latest outing.
Likely to put in a competitive effort once again, the likeable performer could be worth keeping onside from a workable mark and holds leading claims as he seeks a seventh career success.
