2.30 Ascot: Light Of Dawn

Tipster: Ross Millar.
Best odds: 15-2.
Our expert on the two-year-old's, Ross Millar, shares his verdict on the juvenile races on day four at the Royal meeting after striking with Nola Soul (11-2) and Earth Shot (4-1) on Thursday. Read more here:
I was impressed by every facet of Light Of Dawn's debut at Carlisle. She broke smartly and travelled with real professionalism at the rear of a small field. Once angled out she showed an ability to quicken and lengthened all the way to the line under very tender handling.
This eight day gap is certainly on the short side but it's easy to argue that she might well have faced more exertion in a piece of work at home than she did in her race. Her long stride and professional nature will suit this race well and I expect her to go very close.

3.05 Ascot: Venetian Sun

Best odds: 6-4.
Tipster: Harry Allwood.
Harry has two more selections at Royal Ascot this week after selecting Moonfall (advised at 10-1) on Thursday! Read more here:
Karl Burke made it no secret how highly he regarded Venetian Sun last year, and his star filly produced a high level of form, which included victory in the Prix Morny, and the Albany Stakes at Royal Ascot.
Hopes were high that she would stay a mile in the Betfred 1000 Guineas on her return, but after failing to stay at Newmarket, there was also a slight concern she hadn’t trained on. However, those doubts were quashed following her impressive win in the William Hill Sandy Lane Stakes last time out, and that performance suggests she is at least as good this season.
Venetian Sun came back on the bridle entering the final furlong, and while she only clocked an average time, the ground was good to soft, and she was only nudged out to score.
A return to Ascot on quicker ground will not be a hinderance, and Burke has sounded highly positive about her credentials in recent weeks. I believe there’s a chance she could outclass her rivals here, and I would have her chalked up shorter than the general 7-4 on offer. If I had to nominate one, she’d be my banker of the meeting.

5.00 Ascot: Seet

Best odds: 5-1.
Tipster: Dave Nevison.
Dave Nevison tipped Blue Bolt (5-2) and Alobayyah (11-4) on Wednesday, plus also selected Seren Star (3rd at 40-1), and struck with Moonfall (13-2) and Mezcala (9-2) on Thursday! Find Dave's best bets for Friday's action here:
There are lots of lightly-raced and progressive fillies in this, but it is difficult to see past the John and Thady Gosden- trained favourite, Seet.
She is bred to be top-class, being a half-sister to Kalpana who has a big chance in Saturday's Hardwicke Stakes.
She has improved greatly in each of her three runs, and showed she acts well on fast ground at Doncaster last time out with an impressive win.
The straight mile suited Seet well there, and with a favourable high draw, and Ryan Moore booked, it is tough to find a negative. Off a rating of 96, I expect her to win here.

5.35 Ascot: Causeway

Best odds: 7-4.
Tipster: Katie Midwinter.
Beaten by future Derby winner Christmas Day in a Gowran Park maiden on debut, Causeway is unbeaten in four starts since and claimed Group Three honours at the Curragh when last seen. He has shown a good attitude as well as plenty of ability this season, and remains open to further improvement, still unexposed.
The Wootton Bassett colt is beautifully bred out of Galileo mare Heaven Of Heavens, a sister to the brilliant Magical and three-time Group One-winning Rhododendron, dam of Auguste Rodin. There should be more to come from Causeway, and he could pose a threat to the unexposed favourite in this contest. The step up to a mile-and-a-half should suit and he has shown plenty of grit and determination, as well as class, this season, which bodes well for his chances of continuing his progression at this level.

6.10 Ascot: Jazl

Best odds: 16-1.
Tipster: RaceiQ nap of the day (Andy Stephens).
Highest Speed: 43.49mph
Latest 0-20mph: 2.15sec. Latest Time Index: 9.9 (meeting ave 7.7)
Jazl is a son of No Nay Never, the 2013 Norfolk winner, and looks a chip off the old block.
He has been an emphatic winner over six furlongs at Windsor and Leicester this season, but has exhibited a stack of speed and this stiff five furlongs should suit him just as well. He got a Time Index of 9.9 last time, zooming through the final two furlongs in 23.13 seconds.
