Ryan Moore made all the running on the 5-2 favourite to lead home Consent in a British one-two in the Prix Royal-Oak.
The durable stayer was third in the Prix Du Cadran at the start of the month, second in the Long Distance Cup just eight days ago, and continued his progression when going one place better here.
Sent into an early lead by Moore, Queenstown was asked to extend before the turn for home as Jabracadabra looked to close the leader down.
However, it soon became apparent that Amy Murphy's charge was running out of steam, and it was left to the Sir Mark Prescott-trained Consent to run on from off the pace for a never-nearer second. The 125-1 chance Highara stayed on for third.
