I've a concern Laytown is the plan for this steed who ran at trainer Alan Delaney's beloved Bellewstown on Tuesday.

He never had a chance in that race, but did well considering he was nearly brought down, and this track ought to suit.

Ben Coen is an excellent booking for this gelding. He was probably sent off 40-1 at Galway, partly because punters did not fancy another trainer improving one previously with Ger Lyons.

Pat Murphy put cheekpieces on him and he very nearly finished placed despite having to pass the whole field coming into the straight, losing ground wide, with the gambled-on Mr Perth behind him at the wire.

He makes lots of appeal given the nature of this track. Keep an eye on the 3.44 race as Good Man Jack (eighth at Galway) runs then.

This filly is not bred for staying distances, but she was a revelation when stepped up to 12 furlongs at Tramore when just denied.
