It was good to get off the mark at Galway yesterday after several near misses.
I like three quite strongly at Ballybrit today, with an obvious fancy at decent odds bidding to provide Joseph O'Brien with another Glorious Goodwood winner.
1.50 Goodwood: Defiantly (E/W)
Looked a dour stayer, unlike the vast majority of these, at Ascot, when the headgear seemed to work. He stayed on gamely and simply has to go well each-way at 6s if repeating that given so few of these are proven stayers.
5.00 Galway: High Morals
Notably favourite on debut at the Curragh, he ran quite well when beating all bar one at Bellewstown, the winner boosting the form since.
This is not especially strong and further improvement at 11-1 should see him go well.

6.35 Galway: Thread Of Gold
Quite whether this track will suit this big galloping type is questionable, but it is very hard to be negative about his chance otherwise, and he makes plenty of appeal stepping up in yardage.
7.40 Galway: Jp’s Express (E/W)
Came from a hopeless position at Fairyhouse to somehow finish third, has run well at Galway, and is lightly raced so makes loads of appeal at 15-2 each-way in the headgear.
