3.42 Epsom Downs: Crooked Path
Crooked Path showed more than enough on his last start over course and distance that makes him worth giving another chance to on just his third outing for James Owen.
Despite getting shuffled slightly wide entering the home straight he appeared to handle the track well enough once straightened up before staying on well to finish a clear second.
With his stamina no issue, a more positive ride could see Crooked Path build on that effort now he has experience of the track under his belt on ground that should suit well.
4.45 Doncaster: Storm Blade
The switch to nurseries should see Storm Blade to a much better effect, and with Andrew Balding’s team in flying form he is taken to defy an opening mark of 81.
After running slightly green on his second start at Sandown Park on his first go over seven furlongs, the Night Of Thunder colt shaped much better last time out at Chester.
Although he still showed some signs of immaturity, the penny is clearly starting to drop given the way he finished and he can take another step forward here.

5.27 Epsom Downs: Post Rider
Post Rider is not guaranteed to get his own way out on front, but if he does he could prove hard to pass.
The Oliver Cole-trained gelding is now two pounds below his last winning mark, and there was more encouragement in his last run that his turn might be approaching again.
A slight step back up in trip is a plus, while the switch to a more unconventional track shouldn’t be an issue given how he has handled the likes of Brighton and Goodwood.
5.33 Lingfield: Kaindy
Kaindy didn’t need to get out of second gear to open his account at the fourth attempt of asking last time out at Kempton Park, a victory he can follow up here.
It is the form of his return run at the Sunbury venue which makes him of real interest. Although the winner that day Najidi Storm has since suffered a shock defeat, the runner-up, Gavriel, has won off 95 and is now rated 101, which makes Kaindy potentially well-in off 84.
The step back up to a mile should prove no problems given how he shaped on his return when looking in need of the run, and he can take in this contest on route to bigger targets.
