Graham Clark shares his four best bets for Saturday's action on Racing TV, with selections at Newmarket, Hamilton Park and Goodwood - where he likes one chalked up at 14-1.
1.50 Goodwood: Valedictory
After a slightly inauspicious start to the season Valedictory has really got his act together since being upped to a mile and three quarters.
After scoring over course and distance on his penultimate start he was always doing just enough over the same trip at Newmarket.
He is now on a career high mark of 95, but with the track holding no problems he looks worth siding with once again in search of his hat-trick.
3.23 Newmarket: Lion Of Mali
There was little to choose between Lion Of Mali and Sierra Sands when the pair clashed over course and distance last time out, but the former is fancied to turn the tables on this occasion.
The James Fanshawe-trained colt has held his form well all season and is weighted to reverse the placings with Sierra Sands, who will not have the assistance of Ryan Moore on this occasion.
His prominent running style should ensure he gets first run on that rival, and he is taken to make the most of a swing in the weights on ground that will suit.

4.10 Goodwood: Marengo Storm
This is a different test to three runner race that Marengo Storm won at Newmarket last time out, but he is progressing nicely and can run well at a decent price here.
The application of some cheekpieces will hopefully help him travel that bit kinder than he did before winning last time out in what was a muddling affair.
He will need to be sharp away from stall one, but with the stronger pace likely to suit he shouldn’t be too far away.
5.50 Hamilton: California School
California School shaped with more than enough promise on his debut to suggest he is one that is worth following on his next start.
Although slowly away, along with showing signs of greenness during the race, the Roger Varian-trained colt stayed on nicely under Tom Marquand to pass several rivals late on.
With that experience in the locker he can take a big step forward from that mentally and make his presence felt in a race that shouldn’t take much winning.
