Top tipster Dave Nevison shares his three best bets on Tuesday, with selections at Carlisle and Hamilton Park - both live on Racing TV.
4.15 Carlisle: Great
Great won over this course and distance earlier in the summer, and Sam England’s gelding did me a favour when winning at Pontefract last week and can follow up.
A stiff track is clearly beneficial, but a strong pace, that seems likely this afternoon, also seems to suit the five-year-old very well.
He ran well off marks in the 70s in the not too distant past, but he seems to be an improving performer now that he has cleaned up his act at the stalls. He can progress further from this mark.

4.45 Carlisle: Asia Force
Asia Force hasn’t shown the force that may have been expected of him given an illustrious pedigree, but he is running with a few alterations here and it looks like a win is possible.
Karl Burke has had him gelded which might bring about improvement on its own, plus he has also upped Asia Force in trip which could also suit.
The handicapper has dropped him 1lb and he is up against older horses for the first time here, and they look a modest bunch (most have not won a race this season and those that have look very much to be in the grip of the handicapper).
7.00 Hamilton: Spoken Truth
Spoken Truth has been running consistently well since he came over from Ireland, but a long hot summer with prolonged fast ground has not been in his favour. Despite that, he has some decent form to his name, including last time when fourth, beaten a length in a hot 0-105 handicap at Ascot.
That race was over a mile on fast ground and I feel it is very likely that he will be very well suited by this lower grade race, especially if the going, which is given as good to soft as I write on Monday, remains as described.
He has some potential improvers above him in the weights, but a double-figure price compensates and Spoken Truth looks a decent each-way bet.
