Dave Nevison's Wednesday tips: "She could be a handicapper to keep onside"

Last Updated: Tue 6 Oct 2026

Top tipster Dave Nevison has enjoyed a purple patch in recent weeks and has three selections for Wednesday's action at Nottingham, live on Racing TV. Click here for more top tips from our experts.

3.29 Nottingham: Tamzan (Nap)

7/2

Tamzan has been a most consistent filly all season, and may still have another win in her yet, based on her excellent second at Leicester last time out.

She has been raised a couple of pounds for that solid effort, but Marcus Tregoning has engaged excellent 3lb claimer Ashley Lewis to more than offset the rise, so it is difficult to see Tamzan not running well over her ideal trip.

She's my nap of the day on Wednesday.

3.59 Nottingham: Get Outta Here

5/2

Get Outta Here has been running well all season, despite the David Menuisier yard being below form for much of it.

After doing far too much when racing keenly at Goodwood on his penultimate start, he returned to form last time out at Windsor when beaten just a neck in a decent event.

He has run well at Goodwood and York this season after breaking his maiden in the Spring, and deserves to win another handicap before the season ends, especially with the yard generally going well now.

4.29 Nottingham: Kokoluna

T: Eve Johnson Houghton

7/1

The only time Kokoluna has finished in front was when she scored at Nottingham on her reappearance, and she has progressed nicely since then.

She missed the main part of the Summer but returned from a short break to produce a career-best effort when just being touched off over this distance at Goodwood last time out, but was rewarded that race in the stewards' room.

She could easily make further progress here and be a handicapper to keep onside this Autumn. Eve Johnson Houghton couldn’t be in much better form, too.
