GALIYAN was notably strong at the line when opening his account in a well-run 1½m maiden at Chester in May, which bodes well for further improvement over this still longer trip, so he's fancied to take the rise in class in his stride in what doesn't look the strongest renewal of this Group 2. Limestone has a likeable attitude which is sure to continue to stand him in good stead now that he tackles even better company, while Port of Spain promises to be suited by the further increase in trip.

About The Selections
Donn McClean
Asakir By the Grand Prix de Saint-Cloud winner Zarak and out of a mare who won over 10 furlongs, from the family of Azamour, he has the potential to continue his progression.
Harry Allwood
Galiyan Looked a thorough stayer when scoring at Chester last time out, despite displaying signs of greenness again, and looks a smart performer in the making.
Alex Scott
Galiyan Surely going to stay forever and won going away impressively at Chester in a good time. Plenty more improvement very likely.
Andy Stephens
Limestone Looks tailor-made for this after winning over 13 furlongs at Navan last time. Carmers won that race en route to glory here.

Race Hints
Specific Pace Hint: There is a chance of a pace burnout early, and Limestone is one who could suffer as a result: A strong early pace seems highly likely. Galiyan could be suited if held up as expected.
