Races don't come much better than this. Last year's winner OMBUDSMAN is rock solid and the fact he's proven on fast ground tips the vote his way over Arc hero Daryz, who has been most impressive on a couple of return visits to Longchamp this spring. Minnie Hauk, who is closely matched with Daryz on Arc form, had an excuse for a below-par effort behind Almaqam at the Curragh last time and can bounce back to form and also play her part in what promises to be a thriller.

About The Selections
Johnny Ward
Minnie Hauk Nothing between her and Daryz on Arc form and if bouncing back, she looks massive each-way value at 7-1.
Alex Scott
Daryz Has showed an exceptional turn of foot to win both starts impressively this year and this race should suit. I am surprised he is as big as 2-1.
Andy Stephens
Ombudsman Was a stunning winner of last year’s edition and he can retain his crown in what looks a vintage renewal.

Race Hints
Specific Pace Hint: Almaqam shouldn’t be inconvenienced if looking to adopt a prominent position: The leaders will have to go harder than the predicted pace forecast if the hold-up horses such as Daryz are going to come into things.
Individual Price Hint: Dancing Gemini has traded at 50% or less of Betfair SP twice on its last 5 starts.
