Top tipster Dave Nevison marks your card with three selections for the action at Yarmouth.
1.20 Yarmouth: Pietro
Pietro had a midsummer break but in his two recent runs very much looks like he is working himself back into form on the racecourse and slipping in the ratings while doing so.
He was running on really well at the death in a six and a half furlong event at Doncaster last time out where clearly looking as though he will be suited to this step back up to seven furlongs.
He is well drawn in stall 1 and the prevailing soft ground will suit him well. A 3lb drop form his highest mark means he is qualified to run off top weight in this 0-80 grade (hasn’t raced down at this level all season and won in higher grade on his reappearance) and he may well outclass these rivals. This looks a good bit of placing.
Tipstar 2026: Win £1,000, a live shift on Racing TV plus much more!
3.28 Yarmouth: Potters Prince
Potters Prince has been busy recently, which is a slight concern given this will be his fourth run in a month. However, he really does seem to be thriving and won quite impressively last week over a mile here at Yarmouth and he is still well weighted after a penalty.
He is up in trip this afternoon but the way he won last time certainly suggests he is worth trying over ten furlongs especially when in such hot form. The booking of Oisin Murphy is very eyecatching.
4.03 Yarmouth: Pixie Diva
Pixie Diva ran a really good race under oisin murphy over this course and distance back in the summer and is a couple of pounds lower here this afternoon.
The drop in her mark has come due to disappointing efforts the last twice but both those runs were over six furlongs and it looks pretty conclusive now the George Scott filly is much better over the minimum trip despite having made a winning debut over six furlongs on the all weather.
