This eight-year-old bumped into one at Tramore when last seen, but that effort backed up his Roscommon run (when also runner-up) on his previous outing, and he should like this track.
He ought to be very hard to pass here.
5.25 Roscommon: Givehertilxmas
In a race where the majority of the contenders have question marks, Givehertilxmas is solid, especially given the assistance of Colin Keane.
She went close on soft ground late last year at Bellewstown, and it was a similar scenario at Roscommon last time out.
The addition of cheekpieces suggesting her trainer believes she can improve on her recent effort, and she barely stays eligible for this 0-60 grade.
5.55 Roscommon: Merisi Diamond
The booking of title-chasing Billy Lee suggests this contender is ready to strike, and he is clearly still well-handicapped.
He will also love the ease in the ground, and is a course and distance winner who is well drawn.
