Like old times!
MEP Nina Carberry enjoyed a 17-year career as a rider and rode the likes of Gold Cup winner Don Cossack in his formative years as well as winning races such as the Irish Grand National.
Teaming up with old ally Gordon Elliott, Carberry partnered Ndaawi to success in the Pat Smullen Cancer Trials Ireland Charity Race at the Curragh in a feelgood story supporting Ireland's biggest charity raceday which has raised over €1.2m for a wonderful cause in honour of the multiple champion jockey who we sadly lost back in September 2020 at the age of 43.
