Top tipster Dave Nevison shares his four best bets for the weekend action at both Ascot and Haydock - live on Racing TV.
1.35 Ascot: Fandom
Fandom ran well enough in the Stewards' Cup last weekend, but was eased out of things when it was clear he wasn’t going to get through from the back.
A fast run five furlongs at a track such as Ascot would seem much more suitable for the Hannon trained five-year-old and he looks to have the ideal set up here.
He ran very well to be beaten three quarters of a length in a similar sprint here in the spring and I expect Fandom to enjoy sitting just off the pace in this.
I don’t know too much about the jockey, but he rode the winner of the two-mile race in last year’s Shergar Cup, so I am not concerned.
2.45 Ascot: Night Breeze
I cannot imagine Ian Williams was anything but delighted when he drew the services of jockey of the moment Dylan Brown McMonagle for Night Breeze, who probably would have gone off favourite for this event whoever was on board.
The five-year-old ran a binder when finishing fast in a red hot Goodwood handicap last time out. He finished third but would have been second in another couple of strides.
He is now 10lb higher than when he won at Epsom in the spring, but his recent performances have fully merited the raise and even at six years of age, he looks like he might still be on the up.

4.40 Haydock: Witch Hunter
Witch Hunter has spent a year or so contesting all the best Heritage Handicaps and has not been up to it, but he definitely slipped under the radar a little when winning a 0-105 handicap at Thirsk last weekend.
He is dropped even further in grade here to 0-95 grade and has only been raised 2lb for that success and might well be able to follow up.
He is once again ridden by 5lb claimer Seamus Cronin who is having a good season for Richard Hannon and delivered the five-year-old perfectly last time. The fast pace around a bend seemed to suit Witch Hunter very well last weekend.
5.10 Haydock: Suggy
Harry Vigors looks a strong booking claiming 5lb against fellow apprentices and the weight allowance could prove a decisive factor.
Suggy has rattled up three wins on the all-weather this season and is clearly improving rapidly, and though he hasn’t won on turf, he ran well to be second at bath last year so I do not anticipate the switch to turf will be an issue.
The mile trip looks ideal and he may be running out of his grade here.
